Looking for Printers that Use Canon 220 & 221 Ink Cartridges From PIXMA MP620

I've bought a new iMac last year which no longer works with my printer drivers. I used Gutenprint for a little while but recent OS updates changed that as well. It's unfortunate and frustrating I have to replace a printer that works perfectly fine but it is what it is. However it would be nice to find a printer that uses the 220/221 ink cartridges so I don't have to pitch those in the trash as well thus wasting even more money. I have searched for lists to try and cross reference this situation but have hit a dead end. I am running Mac OS 13.1. Can anyone help?

Thanks for letting us know what Canon product you've got. The PIXMA MP620 is an older model which we have retired. While that means that Canon USA no longer offers direct support for it, your friends here in the Canon Community are welcome to offer suggestions!

You can also speak with a Canon Upgrade Program specialist to help you score a modern replacement that would meet your current needs at a discount. You can reach them weekdays and Saturdays at 1-866-443-8002.

Hope this helps!

Thanks John. Unfortunately every printer on this list has been retired by Canon but I appreciate the response.

Maybe there is an eBay market for your cartridges.

That is a possibility

No real solution to this issue. I have to get a new printer but I won't be getting another Canon.

I agree with you Clarencegg.  I am going to check with my schools and see if they can use the ink.

I have the same problem, however my printer is the MX410.  I recently purchased ink for it, and now I have ink and the printer won't work.  I am very disappointed that I have to purchase a new printer!
