I've had a Canon Pixma MX870 for a number of years and have had very good luck running it under Windows/Vista. I have just upgraded to a new Windows 10 computer, and downloaded the drivers, plus the MP Navigator utility, from the Canon Website. I can print just fine; the printer is automatically added to the list of printers for all applications and shows up in Word, my mail program, etc.
Under Vista, the scanner showed up in my installed graphics applications, like Photoshop and Hypersnap, making it a'one-step operation to scan right from (and into) the application. But now I have to use MP Navigator as a standalone utility, save the scanned image to a file, and then fetch that file from my application.
Is there a way to 'embed' MP Navigator in the graphics applications as it seemed to automatically do in previous OS versions? Thanks!

Hi Electrojim,
I will be happy to help. Which graphics applications are you using?
