Hi Community,
I got a printer from India a few years back... G3000 (Canon Pixma ink tank)... Now I am running out of Ink. In India I would have used GI-790 bottles but I am unable to find GI-790 bottles here.. Can someone suggest me a compatible ink bottle.
I was thinking of using GI-290 but wanted to check before I end up damaging my printer.
thanks in advance.

the G3000 (India) is probably similar to the G3200 (US) which uses the GI-290 vs the GI-790. I would guess that it would work just fine as the difference in naming is likely due to different markets.

Hi, I am in same boat as you. Did you find any solution to GI-790 replacement here in USA? Did you try GI-290?
I found that in GI-790 black is pigment based and rest 3 (C, M & Y) are dye based. GI-290 is also similar.
Thanks in advance.

Hi,
Were you able to try out on GI-290? Please do post your feedback.
Thanks in advance!
