I have a MX 892 wireless printer, about 2 years old. The PC told me the yellow caartridge (far right) was low on ink. We printed the rest of the pages and then I replaced the cartridge. It is printing blank pages. I have done a clean and deep clean on the head. The cartridge was a refill from Costco. I have used other refills with no problems. PC now shows cartridge is full. Could the cartridge be bad or have I damaged the head? Thanks.

Windows 7 Home Premium. I am getting no error messages. It sounds like it is printing but the page is blank. I just did the second deep cleaning.

Same problem on older MX-700 using Dell PC running windows 7
Cleaned the heads and installed new Staples brand ink cartridges and printer spits out blank pages. No error messages.

Hi preswick and Tkyle,
Since the print head cleanings and deep cleanings did not resolve the issue, please perform a print head alignment on the printer by following the steps located at the link below applicable to your printer model:
PIXMA MX892 Performing a Print Head Alignment
PIXMA MX700 Performing a Print Head Alignment
If the ink still does not print after performing the print head alignment, the printer will require servicing. Please Contact Us for your servicing options.

I tossed the printer about 2 weeks ago, bought a HP 8600. The printer was good while it lasted, shouldn't have worn out in less than 2 years. .
