I was trying to carefully replace the yellow printer cartridge on the above inkjet printer, when the locking tab sheared off, I was not using any force, just finger pressure as usual, so I assume it was a plastic failure in situ.
Now I have the cartirdge stuck in its slot , with no apparent method of releasing it. I have tried gentle persuasion, and removed all the other cartridges to get a better purchase, but it is securely locked in place.
Is there a procedure to release it please?
Thanks in advance

Greetings,
A very thin blade and gentle touch should allow you to release the "stuck" cartridge. You might as well use it up until it needs to be removed.
