I'm trying to setup a ir2018 Canon Printer on my network and print through wireless with my laptop. The printer and workstations are all in the same subnet.
192.168.1.20 for the printer
DHCP for the laptop that is connected to a wireless router
When trying to print a test page to the printer' I can see that the job goes into
the print queue (from a windows machine for a second and has a
job status of "printing". Nothing comes out of the
printer. I get no error messages on the workstation. I can ping the
printer from this workstation.
I have tried these driver in vain
PCL6_xp2k3vista2k8782k12_64_INF_e
UFRII_1400_xp2k3vista2k8782K12_64_Setup_e
PCL5-6_xp2k3vista2k878_35_Setup_e
In either of these cases nothing comes out of the printer and I get
the same result as I described above. I can't seem to find out what is
the problem. Any help would be great.
regards
