I use canon pixma G2000 and it prints faded images on normal paper

the imagine is more like off-coloured and i can see one row of colour side by side. is it normal on a normal paper or is there a problem. i just bought the printer and have only been using it for 2 days. i am wondering if the same thing will happen if i used a photograph paper as i am planning to print my pictures. thank you for your time
