I have a Canon MX452. I hope to use the fax option with my AT&T cordless phone. I am technically illiterate so I cannot figure this out. Thank you for any help.

I have the same situation. You cannot use the fax unless you plug it directly into a phone jack. If you don't have an empty jack in the room with your printer you will have to run a wire to a phone jack. If you only ahve one jack in your home you can get a jack spltter at radio Shack or Walmart to allow two connections to one jack.
