Hi Ronkar1969,

So that the Community can help you better, we will need to know exactly what equipment you're using. Any other details you'd like to give will also help the Community better understand your issue. Thanks and have a great day!

I have a HP computer and a MX922 printer. I have loaded it, the system says I am connected but It  will not work wireless only with the USB cable connected.

Hi ronkar1968,

Please try the following to resolve the issue:

1.  Click Start.

2.  Click Control Panel.

3.  Click Hardware and Sound.

4.  Click Devices and Printers.

5.  Right click the PIXMA MX922 Printer and click Printer Properties.

6.  Click the Ports tab.

7.  Make sure that the checkmark is on the port that starts with CNBJNP, then click OK and try to print.

If the CNBJNP port was already selected please try right clicking the PIXMA MX922 printer and click See Whats Printing.  When the print queue opens, click Printer and remove the checkmark on Use Printer Offline by clicking on it, then try printing again.

I have a dell computer running Windows 8.  I have set my Pixma MG6320 printer up according to instructions and it worked well for 2 days wirelessly.  Now it is telling me the printer is offline but I cannot get it back online even when I do the set up to the access point etc.  I have checked the ports and I do not have one named CNBJNP or anything like that.

I tried connecting through a USB cable but it still says offline.  HELP!  I am ready to return this printer and go back to my Kodak.

I should mention that when I try to click off the checkmark on "print offline", it won't go away.  The checkmark remains.  I do not mind using a usb cable if I could get it to work!

Hi mrsmark,

If you dont' have the CNBJNP port listed among the available ports, the network drivers did not get properly installed.  Since you are using Windows 8, I recommend using the drivers from the website.  You can download the drivers by following these steps:

  1. Go to Canon's Support & Drivers website at:

    http://www.usa.canon.com/cusa/support/consumer
  2. Enter your model name into the Model Name field, then click GO.

  3. Select your operating system in the Select Operating System and Select OS Version dropdown lists, respectively.

  4. Expand the Drivers section by clicking the red triangle.
  5. Click on the file named MG6300 Series Mini Master Setup.
  6. After reading the details and disclaimer, click 'I Agree Begin Download' and save the file to your computer.
  7. Once the download is complete, double-click the file from its download location to begin the installation.  Make sure to choose the wireless installation as opposed to the USB.
