I don't see any options in the dialog boxes for printing in black and white, and I would like to make it my default setting. I have a Canon MG5420 and I'm running a Mac OSX 10.6.8. Any ideas?

Hi saltyd,
The procedure for printing a color document in monochrome is as follows:
1. Open a document you wish to print and click File and then Print in that application.
2. Select Quality & Media from the pop-up menu on the Print Dialog.
3. Check the Grayscale Printing check box.
4. Complete the setup.
5. Click Print.
When you execute print, the document is converted to grayscale data. It allows you to print the color document in monochrome.
