How to install printer drivers when printer is not attached

Having trouble installing the driver for a G6020 inkjet onto a remote system I RDP into. When RDPing into the remote system it will map the local default printer for the remote system to use but the driver needs to be on the remote system. Issue is the installer won't finish if it can't talk to the printer and I don't see a 'skip and install anyhow' option or 'just install driver option.
