Very new to forum, bought a Canon Pixma iP7220, so far a good improvement of my old Epson. My Epson had a tinge of very light magenta to B&W's, I've also heard that B&W's don't look good on inkjets? I printed one on the Canon and it looked not bad. Maybe a little more contrast but I can fix that later.
I'll introduce myself immediately.
Hope this is the right forum...

Hi jaymack,
To begin troubleshooting the issue, we will want to ensure that all of the inkjet nozzles are dispensing the ink correctly by printing a nozzle check pattern from the printer. To do this, please follow the steps located here. If the nozzle check pattern did not print correctly, we recommend performing at least one cleaning and two deep cleanings on the printer. To perform the cleanings, please follow the steps located here if using a Windows computer, or here if using a Mac.
If the inks still do not print correctly after performing the cleanings, we ask that you please call 1-866-261-9362, Monday - Friday 10:00 a.m. - 10:00 p.m. ET (excluding holidays) for further assistance. There is no charge for this call.
