Help MG3520 Printer Sonoma lost connection no updates, no support, no posts, wired or wireless

Help. I have spent 5-6 hours trying to find how to re-connect my MG3520 printer to my Sonoma MacBook. Canon stopped customer service, said, go online. When online I found set up, downloaded IJ Scan Utility and Garden; tried several videos/instruction via wireless and printer cannot find router etc. Moved to cable, computer finds the printer, but needs to install software, already installed software above, installer not finding it, printer not finding it, computer not finding it. Set up not about to find it even through cable.  

I am lost, do not want to buy another printer (that worked fine) until router went off and I had to turn it on. Tried, resetting, tried all the lights process, off, restart, on, color button.  nada.

Please, Canon just thinks that it is okay to stop using a good printer, throw it into the dump and go buy a new one. I've only had this one for 3 years. seriously? sigh.

Thanks for letting us know what Canon product you've got. The PIXMA MG3520  is an older model which we have retired. While that means that Canon USA no longer offers direct support for it, your friends here in the Canon Community are welcome to offer suggestions!
