Ink cartridge cannot be recognized after refill

Hello i have a problem with my printer after i have refilled it says ink catridge cannot be recogniz

Greetings ,

If your printer uses installable cartridges, you can't just refill them.  The cartridges themselves have a chip that transmits information to the printer.  Remaining ink level is one of its functions.  Some third party vendors sell chip resetter devices that allow you to reprogram the chip after refilling an ink cartridge.  These are not always 100% reliable.  

For best results, color rendition, reliability and accuracy using OEM cartridges is recommended.  

If you want to refill your own ink, I suggest you look at one of Canon's mega tank printers.
