Hi SONYMACIAC,
To attempt to resolve this error, please follow these steps:
1. Please unplug the power cord from your PIXMA MG3620 and leave it off for approximately 10 minutes.
2. After 10 minutes, please reconnect the power cord and turn your PIXMA MG3620 on.
Does the 5100 error persist?
If so, cleaning the encoder/timing strip should clear this error. To clean the encoder/timing strip, please follow the steps outlined in the following Knowledgebase Article:
