GX4000 stuck on upper rear feed

Hello Canon Community.

I hope someone can help me. I'm soooooooooo frustrated.

I was so proud of myself because I successfully printed window envelopes. Hurrah! However, now I can't get the printer to go back to the main feed cartridge. I've tried everything, watched a zillion videos, etc. And, we cannot find the password to access restricted actions, including reset. 

I've logged into my account on the canon website but can't find a place to re/set my password for the printer.

I’m sorry to hear that you’re having trouble with your printer. To help the community assist you better, we need a bit more information:

- What is the exact model of your printer? (It can usually be found on the top or front of the unit.) GX4000 is the "family" or series of the unit.
- Are you seeing any error messages?
- Which version of Windows or macOS are you using?
- How do you connect to your printer: via USB or Wi-Fi?
- Have you installed the current software/drivers from the Canon USA site at https://canon.us/setup

Hi Stephen.

Thanks for your reply. I'm on Windows and went to check on the drivers. I decided to just eliminate the printer and then re-add it. That worked. 

So, thanks and my problem is solved. Until next time...
