We have a Cannon G6000 series ink jet printer. When trying to print in either black and white or in color pages are coming out pink. How can we fix this?

It is a Cannon G6020. We are connected by both USB and WiFi. Our computers are Macs. The tower is an old Mac which no longer can be updated and has OS 10.13.6 and the other computer is a brand new Air Book which has Sequoia 15.3. When printing there are no error messages. The only message is "The latest firm wave is on the printer" We get the same problem with both computers.

Hi gnordwig,
First, please load plain paper into your G6020 and then print a test page:
1. Press the wrench and screwdriver button on your G6020 one time.
2. Repeatedly press the right arrow button to select Maintenance and press the OK button.
3. Press OK on Nozzle check.
A test page will print. Please compare your printout with the example on this page.
If yours does not print correctly, please make sure that the inks are at least half full and then perform a printhead deep cleaning:
1. Press the wrench and screwdriver button on your printer one time.
2. Repeatedly press the right arrow button to select Maintenance and press the OK button.
3. Repeatedly press the right arrow button to select Deep Cleaning and press the OK button.
4. Once complete, repeatedly press the left arrow button to select Nozzle check and press the OK button to print another test page.
If this page does not print correctly, please perform another deep cleaning.
If the test page still does not print correctly after performing 2 deep cleanings, please perform an ink flush:
1. Press the wrench and screwdriver button on your G6020 one time.
2. Repeatedly press the right arrow button to select Maintenance and press OK.
3. Repeatedly press the right arrow button to select Ink Flush and press OK.
5. Use the arrows to select All colors press OK.
6. Check displayed message and press OK.
7. Check displayed message, use the left arrow to select Yes and then press OK.
8. Check displayed message, use the left arrow to select Yes and then press OK.
Ink flush will begin.
Note:
Do not perform any operations while ink flush is in progress.
It takes approximately eight minutes to complete.
If it only takes one or two minutes, please attempt the ink flush procedure again.
Once the ink flush completes, please print another test page.
If after 2 deep cleanings and and ink flush, your G6020 still does not print correctly, the printhead cartridge may need to be replaced.
