Fax directly from a Mac

I want to be able to send documents, mainly pdfs, directly from my Mac without having to print them.  I have a PIXMA 860 and an 870 and it doesn't appear that I can do that with either one.  Is there any multifunction printer that will do this from a Mac.

Unfortunately, we do not have any multifunction printers that allow for direct faxing from a Mac.
