Error 5, Error 9 on TS 3522 Canon

I have a Macbook Pro 2021 with the operating system Sequoia 15.0.1. I have problems to printing using my Macbook Pro. The errors showed for the printer are E 5, E 9. The ink cartridges are in a good level to both black and color. Hoping you can help me or tell me if there is a solution. Thanks.

Hi jclaussells,

The E 5 9 error is an indication that there is a paper mismatch.

Are you using letter sized (8.5" x 11") paper?  If so, please set LTR on your printer.

The button to the left of OK is the Paper button.

Repeatedly press the Paper button until LTR appears on your printer's display.

Once set, then press OK.

After setting LTR on your printer, please attempt to print with your PIXMA TS3522.

If the error persists, please let us know the size and type of paper you are attempting to print with.  I ask because the PIXMA TS3522 does not support printing on photo paper that is letter size.

The using photo paper, the following sizes are supported:

KG
4"x6" / 10x15cm
5"x7" / 13x18cm
5"x5" / 13x13cm
