Good morning from UK.
My Canon iP8500 Pixma has just given an error message after a paper jam = The appropriate print head is not installed.
I now have 1 green followed by 5 yellow lights flashing on the on/off button. Can you suggest how to correct this please. It was working perfectly before the paper jam.
Thanks.

Thanks Bill.
I tried your method with no improvement. I then spoke to Canon Uk and they suggested a test with the orange lights. Again no help.
It seems the prink head is damaged. I see that a new one costs £60 but a new iP7250 costs only £50!
Any comments on the iP7250? The major difference I can see is that it only had CMYK inks instead of the 8 inks that the iP8500 has!
