Did you mean:

Colors are jumbled.

I've had my Canon Pixma MX922 for about 4 years.  5 ink cartridges. Printers printed perfectly until 4 days ago.

Here's what I changed:

Replaced Yellow (Y) and Black (PGBK) cartridges.

Replacement cartridges came from LD Products. I've used them for about 10 years with no problems.

I've tried cleaning, and I get a message that no cleaning is required.

When I print the Nozzle Check Pattern, the #5, #6, and #7 (Reddish colors) are blank.

Black printing works perfectly.

When I try to print multicolored documents, only Blue and Black show up.

Please help.

Hi fideauxdon,

Please perform 3 deep cleanings:

1. Please press the MENU button on your PIXMA MX922

2.  Use the down arrow key until the wrench and screwdriver icon is selected, then press OK

3.  Select Maintenance then press OK

4.  Select Cleaning and press OK

5.  Select Deep cleaning and press OK

6.  Select Yes and press OK

If the issue persists, your PIXMA MX922 would require service.  You are eligible for Canon's Upgrade Program. This is for out of warranty units which have been diagnosed to require service, or for some reason are incompatible with a new or upgraded system. This option allows you a one-time opportunity to purchase a replacement product, discounted from the list price.

If you would like to take part in this option, please call our Sales Department at (866) 443-8002 Monady throuigh Saturday, 9am to 9pm. Let them know you have been working with technical support and the Canon Upgrade Program was offered.
