I've been printing b&w with ip8720 and Canon Premium Matte 8.5x11 and having to use -5 to -8 magenta setting in printer color management to avoid magenta tint. Not 100% neutral but OK.
Paper from new package shows a magenta tint at those same settings from same b&w file. All settings the same except new paper. Is this a common characteristic of this paper and all IJ papers ie; color shifts from batch to batch?
Also with different file photo and new paper - print shows magenta tint in medium to dark grays and slight but apparent greenish tint in lighter grays on same print. What's going on here?
I read on this forum somewhere that this printer/paper combo is an incompatable mix. This right?
