Canon printer leaving black marks corner of print

Hi,

my canon printer is leaving black marks in the corners of photos. 

Please advise..

260gms? think my printer max is 300gsm.

What would you suggest? to stop the issue of ink marks.

Look in where the rollers and printer head is and wipe things down with a rag.

tried that, but the paper abrasion seems to have fixed it. but lost a little bit of image quality.
