Canon matte photo paper MP-101: which side is the printing side?

For the Canon matte photo paper MP-101, what side of the paper is the printing side?  Both sides of the paper look and feel identical to me.

The paper pack has an information booklet and a cardboard protective sheet. The print side faces the protective sheet. Also, the sealing flap is going to face the user when they open it, and then the print side will be facing the user.
