Canon Printer MG2522 Prints light

Hello my name is Alexandria and I’ve been bought my printer a little over two years ago, I’ve been having to lens with my printer. The first problem I had was the flashing oranges light which meant the color carriage was messed up. Now I bought another carriage but the probable is the ink prints out light on the paper, you can barely see the words on it. What should I do?

Hi Alexandria1,

In addition to the color ink cartridge, the black ink cartridge should be replaced as well.

If your PIXMA MG2522 still prints too lightly, please perform a few printhead cleanings.

To perform a printhead cleaning, please hold down the STOP button until the Alarm lamp flashes orange 2 times, then release it immediately.
