Canon Pixma iP8750 printhead stuttering and stopping

Hi everyone,

My Pixma iP8750 has a problem. When I switch it on, the printhead moves back and forth before getting stuck to the side (see video). The white and orange light on the front flash, alternately, 12 times. Canon support told me this means it needs repaired.

Any ideas what the issue could be?
