Canon Pixma TS5320 not printing well

My printer ink is new, off brand ink ordered from Amazon a few months ago. I installed the ink, but when I print anything in black or color, nearly half of the page is not printed or the printer spits out a blank sheet with zero ink on the paper. This printer is less than one year old so far, and it only started having this printing problem recently. I cleaned it several times but still does not print well. Also another problem I noticed last week, it was printing double letters- two letters very close next to each other.

Does "recently" mean after you replaced the ink with "off brand (non OEM) inks?

"Double letter" printing is often the result of a dirty timing strip.  Use this article for reference:
