Canon Pixma TS5050 text from next page printing on bottom of previous page

Hi,

Glad to have found this forum as this problem is driving me mad!

When I go to print a document, everything looks fine on my screen.  But on the actual printed pages the first couple lines of say page 2 print at the bottom of page 1. I've tried both reducing and increasing the top and bottom margins but it makes no difference.

Settings on the printer are for standard A4 paper and standard printing.

I would be really grateful for any advice as to how to fix this.
