I am trying to print out an A4 Word Document, whenever I send this document to the printer, it prints in photo-size print in the top RH page of the paper. I am printing 2 pages to a sheet but whenever I do this, the printed output is reduced in size to a 4 x 6 image in the top RH side of the paper. If I print the sheets singly (one to a page) then the print is output correctly (ie covers the whole of the A4 sheet).
Why can't I print two pages to a sheet in Word? As I would like to do this in future to reduce the use of paper.
NB my page sizes are all set up correctly in both Word and on the printer print page ie set to A4, no scaling, 1" margins etc. I've also disabled the "automatically reduce large documents that the printer cannot output" option on the page set up tab of the Canon print properties dialogue box, which has not fixed the issue.

Are you trying to print on both sides of a sheet? Here is the guide to do so:

Here is the settings in Word:

No - one sided, two pages printed on one side of the paper

Greetings,
The maximum printable area on an A4 document on the mg3050 is as follows.
203.2 x 289mm. This is 8x11.3 in. However, the maximum print area is less due to margins. This means you will have to scale down in order to print two pages on a single side of paper.

Note your comments and haven't tried this yet but assume it will indeed work. thanks for your feedback.
annoying that after 30+ years of printing word documents on A4 paper with a 1" margin, this Canon printer can't accommodate this.
