Hello,
I have been trying to scan documents with my Canon PIXMA MX492 printer/scanner and it was working fine and then I started getting an error message. I have attached what the error message looks like, I have tried everything suggested but it still won't work. (The printer is connected to my computer via USB if that's helpful) Any response would be helpful.

What version of OSX is installed on your Mac?
Have you tried scanning by using the IJ Scan Utility?
If you scan with the IJ Scan Utility, if an error appears, what is the wording of that message? Screenshot is OK too.
