Canon PIXMA MP830 not printing. Nozzle check done, printed 6 bands, but  afterwards still cannot make a black and white  copy. Help?

Hi Jhtdfran1978,

When printing the nozzle check pattern, you should see a grid of black at the top of the page above the bands of color.  If this grid is missing, and it does not appear after several deep cleanings, then the printhead is likely clogged or damaged.  I recommend contacting us for your service options.

Printer working perfectly except clogged black nozzle. It appears that the replacement part is no longer available. Pity to throw away a perfectly good machine for the sake of a discontinued part. Any suggestion?
