Canon PIXMA MG6320 driver - Print problem

Rhinomopolis
Apprentice

Canon PIXMA MG6320 driver - New printer, Windows XP Pro and Excel 2000 - printing 4 into 1 only prints the first page and preview print prints all of the pages while displaying the preview.  Tried it with administrative rights and had the same problems.

Any thoughts or suggestions?

Thanks

Tried reinstalling driver from the Canon website, the problem remains.

Hello Rhinomopolis.

The issue may be related to how the document is formatted.  Check the page setup options in Excel to ensure that the document size is set correctly.

If you continue to have issues, try performing a 4 on 1 printout from another program to narrow down the cause of the issue.

The document size was set correctly.  Selected Custom Size and set to 8.5" x 11".  Still had the problem.  Turned Collate on/off and still had problem.

Tried with MS Word 2000 and MS Visio 2003.  Both functioned properly.  Looks like a problem with Excel 2000.

I bought Office 2003 thinking that a newer version of Excel would cure the problem.

No luck on that account, 2003 has the same problem.

The driver for the iX6520 has the same problem.

Hi Rhinomopolis,

The actual page that is printed should appear just like the print preview.  If there is a mismatch between the print preview and the final output, it could be related to a setting on the printer or some other type of issue (out of ink, for example).  If the page does not appear properly in the print preview, review the settings in your printing application and try again.
