It seems that the scanner driver is not supported on Windows 8.1.
I have downloaded both the full pack and the separate scanner driver.
The printer is connected wirelessly and prints fine. The scanner driver also install fine and even sees the network scanner if I click on the icon next to the clock it shows that scanner is recognized and it's mac address.
However that TWAIN utility which supposed to be the GUI program to scan documents is not doing anything at installation, I tried both the 32-bit and 64 bit versions even a windows7 version, it's all the same.
Windows 8.1 does not detect the scanner in it's default SCANNERS page in the control panel even after the scanner driver is properly installed.
What else can be done?
