Canon MX490 Can't Communicate with Scanner

When I try to scan it says cannot communicate with scanner and list code 2,157, 50, I have uninstalled and reinstalled and it still doesn't work.How can I fix this problem. Thank you

Hi Toie,

The 2,157,50 error is caused by security software blocking the incoming communication from the scanner.

Please temporarily disable your security software and then attempt to scan.
