Does anyone know what these things are called? I have an old MP530 printer that works great after all these years but every few years I'll get the Error Code 6A00that apparently means that the "auto-purge" unit is not operating correctly.
I usually clean these little... ink pads? and the error goes away. A few days ago one of the pads fell inside the printer and I can't get it out. I'm trying to purchase a replacement, maybe on ebay or else where but I don't know what they are called. Is there a product name or part number maybe?
I contacted Canon Support and they told me to buy a new printer. I can't afford that at the moment and was looking for another option. I really just need the peice.
