Hello all, First and foremost I want to start off with I am somewhat a NEW FATHER (YEAH !!!) I have found myself taking a friends advice and have been taking pictures left and right. For printing I was going to CVS / WalMart and a few other local places and found that sometimes I want something a bit smaller or larger or cropped differently than they can do RIGHT NOW (with what was open at the time.) So I recently started printing them out myself.
WOW, can that get expensive ! OK the printers are not THAT expensive but the INK is killing me. I know, I know, INK from ALL dealers is overpriced BUT I see HP ink on sale BY FAR more than I do Canon or Epson or any other ink that's out here. So to get more to the point,
I've been bouncing back and forth between Canon, and HP, Epson and even some of the store brands and have not found that big a differance. I HAVE found that HP has a Loyalty Program for their Ink but I am not sure if Canon does ? Does anyone know if Canon has a Loyalty Program for their ink or do they EVER do anything like HP does and offer a buy two get one or ANYTHING like that ?
Thanks,
Dan

Hi SADanTheMan,
Canon does offer a Canon Loyalty program. This program allows you to replace your current printer with a new or refurbished Canon printer for a discounted fee with free shipping, if the printer is out of warranty or not supported by your operating system. To receive any promotions for your product, register your printer HERE and you will receive emails when we have them available.

THANK YOU for replying. I honestly was not sure if it was going to happen or not but I REALLY DO UNDERSTAND that yall get allot of questions and sometimes there just is not enough time in the day, or week to get anything of significance done.
Anyway, I am going to look into the trade up program however that was not what this was about. I am interested in knowing if Canon has a Loyalty program for their INK. I live in Texas and like other places we have Office Depots, Office Max (for now) and Staples and a few smaller businesses that sell Canon (as well as other) brand ink. I see EVERY WEEK HP adds with buy one get one half price, or buy two get one free or 20-40% off when purchased of $100.00 or more or several other Store Adds that makes the HP INK MUCH LESS EXPENSIVE than Canon. (Not to mention their recycle programs that give $4.00 back per recycled ink cartridge instead of the normal $2.00 like some other brands) And four of the HP printers we use at work does not have the - Buy Ink or Don't Work - "Gotcha" that Canon does, but that's a whole different issue that make me want to stop using Canon Printers all together.
So the MAIN concern of this post is to find out, for a person like me who BUYS at LEAST 3 - 5 Ink cartridges a month, what does Canon do (if anything) other than say " Hahahaha, thanks for buying our over priced ink "
Remember, I am not some business who can throw money out the window, but someone who wants to keep taking photos as well as printing them out for Family.
I am the average / below average Canon ink user, who is looking to get back something from Canon. Even if it's something as simple as trading in boxtops for a Canon Hat or trading in 5 or 10 used ink cartridges for a New one, or really ANYTHING that shows me that I'm not paying for overpriced Ink and it's going unnoticed.
Thank You again for the reply. I am HONESTLY anticipating what you have to say when / if you get back on this one.
