Problem:
My canon g3160 disconnects every second from my Macbook pro M1.
- The printer is connected by WIFI.
- If I enter the IP of the printer, it shows me its interface, which means that it is online.
- But if I go to the printer menu in Macos, Offline appears. Other times it appears Online with the green indicator, but as soon as I send a print it changes to Offline and does not print, it searches for the printer.
- 90% of the time I have to disconnect the Macbook from the Wifi and reconnect to be able to print, other times I have to restart the Macbook or restart the printer.
- I have reset the printer and the problem continues.
- I have deleted and added the printer to my Mac again, and after 2 seconds it stops recognizing it.
Something illogical:
The scanner works and detects it but when I go to print it just appears Offline.
Since when:
- Everything was working normally until mid-October last year when Moterrey released an update, since then this annoying problem has occurred.
Medium:
I have written to Apple many times and after many tests until completely reinstalling the system, they told me that the problem was with Canon for not updating its drivers or firmware.
So I come here for a solution.

I understand you, but I must say that canon support is very bad. I just entered the Canon page for Latin America and there is no contact form, the only one I see is one that communicates with sales and asks you what you want to buy, nowhere do I see a form for support. Awful.
