Cannon MG5350 Error Code 5,157,61 - cannot scan for these reasons...

I am experiencing a problem that I see others have reported.

I have a Cannon MG5350 which I have been using wirelessly in scan and print mode without problems for the past 6 months. Suddenly I am getting the Error Code 5,157,61 - cannot scan for these reasons...

I have checked the wireless connection seems fine..... any suggestions?

The software is installed on my macbook pro laptop running Parallels 6

today I experienced the same error (with the difference that my printer is connected to the pc via cable). I can print but I cannot scan. Has anyone a suggestion?
