Are there softwares available for my MP495 to work with a MacBook Pro computer?

The last Canon driver for the printer was released for High Sierra.

The built-in Apple driver should work; probably with only basic capabilities.

Have you "added" the printer in System Preferences->Printers & Scanners?

Hi John Hoffman,

Thanks for offering your advice. But unfortunately still can't connect to print. I was able to load the printer onto System Preferences but just won't print.  Disappointing!
