CD Tray constantly rejected TS8150

Printing CDs with a label on them used to work fine but now I cannot get the printer to think there actually is a CD tray inserted. No matter in what way I place the CD tray it just pushes it out and says there is no disc tray inserted. I have cleaned the tray including the reflective areas. No Luck.

I was forced to buy this new model as Canon no longer supported maintainance of my old one which was working fine.

How environmentally friendly is that?!  I have to say I am not impressed: a fold up display screen that then obscures whatever is below it - who designed that? And don't get me started on My Image Garden - scanning used to be a doddle and now it's a real impenetrable and unfriendly struggle.

Incidentally I also own a BJC-250 which is ancient but has never given me any problems and still works perfectly. Ho-hum....

Time to change to another printer company I think . . . . . .

Well I've been on to the UK Canon site and therte are no Forums to help me resolve this problem.

Is there chance that you might reply?
