Hello, I am having a problem with printing wirelessly to my network printer.
1. The printer works fine when connected directly to the computer.
2. When I try to print, I get a 306 comm error and it says, "Printing, awaiting Authentication". Does anyone know what authentication this is, coz I have no idea.
For the Mac specialists - On adding the printer on my Macbook Pro, I am asked to enter the username/password for the print server. Is this "print server" info the username/password used to access the seagate home network unit to which the printer is connected, the username/password to enter the computer, or the username/password to log onto my internet? I am not sure which one must be put there.
I am using a Seagate 3TB Go_Flex home network unit, with a Netgear router and a MacBook Pro OSX 10.8.5.
HELP ME PLEASE !!!!!
