Automatic shutoff for PIXMA TR8670 does not work

Automatic shutoff for PIXMA TR8670 does not work . Followed inx and it still does not shut off.

Hi MAC64,

Please follow these steps:

1.  Please tap the gear icon at the bottom of the display of your PIXMA TR8600 series.

2.  Please scroll down the list and tap ECO

3.  Tap Energy saving settings

4.  Tap Next

5.  Tap Auto power off and select your desired time from the the list that appears

6.  Tap Auto power on and select "ON"

7.  Tap OK

8.  Tap the Home icon in the upper left corner
