I'm looking to get a good all-in-one printer-scanner set up that is compatible with Mac 10.6+, Lion, and Mountain Lion.

Please list the compatible options.

Thanks.

Hello rwalunas,

We have several printers that are compatible with the Mac OS X 10.6, 10.7 and 10.8 operating systems -- the PIXMA MG5320, PIXMA MG6220 and PIXMA MG8220.  In addition to being compatible with the aforementioned operating systems, these printers also offer compatibility with Apple AirPrint.  If you need the ability to scan 35mm film or slides in addition to regular scanning, we recommend the PIXMA MG8220.  More information on the printers can be found by clicking on the links below:

I have a Mac Pro and a Mac Air using the latest Mountain Lion OS. I have successfully installed the MF8380cdw multi-funtion printer/scanner/fax on my wireless lan (using guidlines from the Mac OS--not the Canon printer manuals). Printing works fine from both Mac computers.

However, I cannot get the scan funtion to work. I have downloaded a driver from Canon USA, but that has not helped. The  MF8380 continues to ask me to install a computer for scanning purposes. The actual Canon product manuals left me clueless--and I really don't think they were meant to address a Mac OS install.

Is my procedure wrong, or is there a problem with compatibility?

Please help. Thanks
