Hello,
today I did the update and wanted to download pictures from some of my cameras via the EOS Utility. I like the workflow because I can change the file names right away.
Unfortunately, the programme cannot be started successfully. After a few minutes, the programme stops without showing a window and you can then only send an error report or cancel.
I suspect that here too, as with the Webcam Utility, something in the app needs to be adapted due to the extensive changes made by Apple.
The question is, is there a time horizon?
And does anyone know of an alternative tool that I can use to load images from the camera or memory cards and at the same time have the file names automatically adjusted based on some EXIF data?
Thank you for your help and answers.
Take Care
Andreas

It is not true. Today I tried to install the last version of EOS Utility o my Mac with Sequoia 15.1.1. but DIN NOT WORK.
A Romanian representative of Canon Romania told me that your EOS Utility does not supprt OS 15.
It is unbelievable to hear this from a company like Canon and my experience was so disappointing that I regret I bought EOS R6 Mark II.
I am going to ruturn it an and by a camera with proper software from othter company.
