Help. I have a Canon R7 bought in the spring of 2024. Firmware 1.3.2 I should download firmware and I see there is 1.40, 1.50, 1.60 so do need to download all of them? I did download 160 I got a manual, but no grey bar. I did click on the three dots - and clicked on the item - and this what I get.(See below) I clicked on the second one and asks what file do I want to use to open it I am offered Media Player, Word, Word Perfect, and all sorts of programs that do not apply to the firmware. I have a Windows 11 desktop.
I am confused and need assistance about the firmware - and where does the firmware igo on my computer - so I can put it on my memory card and what is the root directory Thanks Marlene Koenig

Dear Shadowsports, I have not received a response to my question. You recommended I head to Best Buy to purchase a card reader! I asked if I can use the slot in my desktop for my memory card (which I used to copy photos from the card to my computer. So do I need a card reader when have I have a program already installed in the desktop?
thanks
