I'm trying to find a means of converting 5D mark iv video to a Premiere CS6 editable format while retaining the highest video quality. Is there a certain video conversion program and/or output format that would give the best result?
I solved the problem of being able to edit my 5D MK IV files in PP CS6 by using the Media encoder to open the 4K file (i had conected/merged the 4 files into 1 using the canon movie app) and encoding it to a 4K .264 file and that opened fine in CS6.
