EOS Utility won't let me do live remote shooting

is anybody else having trouble with Eos Utility. my macbook is updated to Sanoma14.5 and i have the latest version of eos utility downloaded for my rebel sl3 but when i connect my camera and open utility it wont let me click any of the options so i can do live remote shooting, any solutions?
