Hello,
I have had this problem (see on the screenshot below) so many times! I use a Canon 5Dsr and the EOS utility version is 3.14.30.4.
Please let me know if any other information is needed and how I can solve this problem. The camera is used to automatically take pictures during a laboratory test, so every test it get disconnected (almost every test!), we lose a lot of data!

Is the camera automatically powering off?

How long does a laboratory test run normally last?
How are you triggering the camera?
What version of Windows are you running?
Have you tried updating to the latest camera firmware and EOS Utility software?
Have you changed any of the power settings from their factory defaults?
Are you using a Canon USB cable? They utilize baluns, while third party cables do not.
