Hi all! I was wondering if anyone here has run into a similar problem where the latest version of the EOS Utility software works very slowly/fully freezes or does not properly detect the camera. However, when using an older version of the software on my Windows 10 laptop, I don't seem to be running into any issues of a similar kind. This makes me believe that the culprit must be the software rather than the camera itself, but I am still unsure as to what to do about this... I would really appreciate any thoughts/suggestions if anyone here has happened to run into a similar problem before : )

I am not having that experience. Why not go back to the EOS Utility version that was working for you?

What brand of Windows 11 desktop are you running? Did you build it?
Does it use an Intel chipset? Are you using a USB hub or port expander? If so, don’t.
Have you tried different USB ports? Have you tried a different cable?
