I'm following the instructions to try to set up the new image.canon web service on my 6D and 77D. For both of them the EOS utility in the manage web services section after asking for name/password says 'can not connect to server' and the program exits.
I got the latest version of EOS utility. This is on a Windows 10 computer that is up to date.
It would be nice if the program didn't crash out and instead stayed open.

Well, it seems that I was wrong. As I mentioned, with the USB cable, I was able to see photos and run my camera, but not connect to the network. Just for fun, I replaced the USB cable with what I think is a higher quality cable and the network connection worked. At least, I THINK it was due to the better cable.
